MEET THE TEAM

Bootcamp Pilates trainers are highly qualified professionals from a wide range of fitness and sporting backgrounds, from yoga to rugby, physiotherapy to traditional Pilates. But before they start training our members, we make sure they complete our own thorough and industry-recognised training course. And it’s well worth noting that not everyone who starts the course makes it to the end.

While ensuring that trainers keep Pilates at the heart of their teaching, our in-house qualification gives them a firm foundation on which to build their wide range of individual training styles. So, whether you want tough love or easy-going encouragement, and whatever your training goals or fitness level, you’re bound to find a trainer to match.

Always on the move and passionate about his job, Sam prides himself on his attention to details and his personal approach in his classes, there’s no hiding and he will make sure you are working correct form in every class. With a background in rugby and any other sport he can find the time to play, he found he neglected his mobility and could barely reach past his knees and suffered lower back problems as a result. Through teaching Pilates and focusing on his weakness Sam now has a full understanding how to lengthen muscles, increase end of range strength (mobility) and know how to seriously challenge your core musculature.

His classes are intense, focused and lively – you’ll definitely get stronger whilst also learning why you are performing the exercise and it’s benefits. His favourite move is legs in straps – any version!
