
BEGINNER PILATES CLASS
Essential for new members, our beginner Pilates classes are all about striking a balance – giving you not only a great workout but also the sympathetic support, encouragement and reassurance that every beginner needs. Three or four of these classes will get you used to the correct exercise techniques at a comfortable pace, putting you in a stronger position to tackle the steadier and tougher standard classes. If you’re coming back to us after an injury, a couple of beginner sessions will help you get back in the swing of things – and prevent you from pushing too hard, too soon.
STANDARD PILATES CLASS
Not recommended for beginners, most of our classes are at this intermediate level. But our professional trainers are intent on devising many different routines, so one Pilates class will rarely be the same as another. While no longer a beginner, you’ll keep on learning new exercises – but with confidence, you might have lacked at the start.
REFORMER FUNDAMENTALS PILATES CLASS
Reformer Fundamentals is ideal for beginners and those who are returning to Pilates following treatment from a Health Specialist for joint pain or injury.
The Reformer gives you all the benefits of Mat Pilates and more. The springs and pulleys on the reformer give you far more resistance than you can achieve with just your body weight on a mat. This helps to improve posture, overall strength and flexibility. You will look and feel taller as a result. The resistance also gives you constant feedback, allowing you to feel the muscles in your arms and legs working through the springs and pulleys. With consistent practise, you will notice better definition in your arms, legs and butt and a stronger core.

INTERMEDIATE REFORMER PILATES CLASS
Faster and a lot more intense. To get the most our of this class you need to understand the Pilates Fundamentals & Principles and have quite a few Reformer classes under your belt. Expect significantly more variety – there are literally hundreds of exercises for your Trainer to choose from. You’ll quickly see new levels of core strength, flexibility, and aerobic fitness. Your posture will improve; you’ll stand taller and straighter, and your physique will become leaner and more toned. Not suitable for complete beginners or anyone experiencing pain or with injuries.
