Her specialisms: Toning, body sculpting, fat loss, improving endurance and helping those through diet and exercise with chronic conditions like High high cholesterol, high blood pressure and diabetes etc
Tell us about how you have helped a client reach their goal using your specific specialism: I have a long term client in her early 60s who initially came to me suffering from high blood pressure which she has suffered from a young age. She wanted to improve that along with changes in her body. For me it starts with analysing the persons life, internal health and how they generally feel mentally. Its not about turning there life upside down but about making changes they can incorporate around there lifestyle so it does not feel like a chore or hinderance. For example she drank everyday, drinking has a massive impact on high BP, so we started slowly by reducing her consumption. It wasn’t about removing alcohol from her life, but more getting to a point over the long term where it becomes a treat as opposed to a daily necessity etc Two years on her BP has reduced along with her dress size and improved energy levels through the changes we have made in and out of her PT sessions.
Her favourite Dynamic Reformer exercise: Plank to press-up to icebreaker (my little combo I add in to some of my classes) which also defines my style of teaching at BCP.
Her favourite motto is: ‘If you don’t ask you don’t get’.
